Good Monday to you! Listening to the Police’s song So Lonely. The bass line is so good it made me forget about what I was thinking about and I just looked up the lyrics, just love it! I just added the link to a 1979 performance. Sting’s bass is gorgeous and the sound is entrancing. It looks like a Fender Jazz but just can’t be sure. I will have to look it up.
Yesterday, was Father’s Day and hubby and we out in Redlands yesterday. We had met up with his daughter before she headed off to summer camp. How exciting for her. I fondly remember working at summer camp in 1985.
I snapped a few photos along the way.
I was excited as I was getting to see Orange Street Alley in Redlands, CA. This is one of those alley’s with the umbrellas! I had been seeing it on various social media posts and yes, I glad we made the stop. By the way, Cheesewalla, that BBQ/mac N’ cheese sandwich was the perfect cure for the munchies, it frigging rocked so much I didn’t take a photo of it. Hubby quite enjoyed the pizza thingy as well. Speaking of munchies….
On the way home, we stopped at Cabazon Dinosaurs. I have fond memories of this place as I remember the first time seeing it back in the early 70’s on the way to Arizona with my family.
Today, I get to travel to Palm Springs, woohoo! Yes, that is a little sarcasm. This visit is for my third post-op visit since my surgery for Cauda Equina Syndrome. Life is getting easier and I can walk longer distances. However, there are times when I feel like I am floating, like my feet are gone. It gets me a little panicky but I am used to this as it occurred prior to surgery and no doctors could figure out why. So, hopefully, today he will have some answers.
Have a beautiful day and thank you for stopping by. Hope to see you again!
