Not going to lie but I have been here in this very spot may times in the last week but it has not been easy. Just sitting here now is making me all frigidity. Am I nervous? No, just uncomfortable. The weather lately makes the nerves in my spine feel extra sensitive and it makes sitting for more than 5 to 10 minutes a task. Luckily, I am not much of a TV watcher as that would h ave made my life miserable. Usually, when I do watch something, it is a movie that I have seen probably 20 times previously. I spent most of last week out in the garden, making candles, pickling stuff and walking around taking pictures where ever I could. Having chronic pain, I have read many self-help books and many of the tell you to find something to take your mind off of the pain, so that is what I did. The Coachella Valley was beautiful that is for sure. The skies were blue and full of fluffy clouds. We even got a few rain drop and snow in the mountains. As nice as it was, I am glad that this weather will be moving on for the season.
Right now 38 Special is singing about Second Chances and all I can think about is when is this ringing in my ears going to stop. Yes, that is a new thing that is happening now! What can I say, I make my own music!!! Ha ha!
Yesterday, we got out for a bit. I really liked that as we haven’t been out much lately. Hopefully, we will get out of this valley soon as I am getting cabin fever. Long car rides are not too comfortable but it sure beats sitting at home. Last night we went to a four star fast food establishment, well at least here in California, In-N-Out Burger.
I love these special “dinner dates”. Hubby will find a spot here in the Coachella Valley to stop at and we will eat in the car. I had my camera yesterday so I took photos of him. I did an impromptu shoot. I really liked the location and would like to come back to shoot here again.
Also, I received the shirt I ordered and hubby took a few photos of me. Love the shirt!
Here is the back side of this cool utility hut located in Thousand Palms. I really like this hut. A few years ago when I was still driving, I used to get up early in the morning and drive around the with my camera and take photos. Somehow, I always ended up at this hut and that old tree and this is where we had dinner. I tell ya, I love this valley for the views.
It’s early Sunday and time for new adventures…or breakfast! Enjoy your day where ever you are and what ever you are doing. Thank you for stopping by and hope to see you around these parts again.
